My college background in journalism and creative writing has given me a passion for the written word and a healthy obsession of how to use it correctly.  My professional administrative background in the medical, dental and legal fields has given me a well-rounded appreciation for the importance of detail-oriented and accurate writing, no matter the genre.

I have always had a knack for finding errors, misspellings, and other mistakes commonly made by the best of us. I love to read and write, yet I find myself skimming the page for simple blunders and inevitably finding them. Whether in print, online, in TV advertisements, on menus, signs, newsletters, books, or even on professional billboards, I notice errors, and I want to correct them. 

Most mistakes, whether with spelling, punctuation, or grammar happen simply because we are in a hurry and just want to get the words down. That’s where I come in. My proofreading skills will help you create the professional image you want to present. Something as simple as a spelling error on a flyer received in the mail for lawn care can make or break the business. If the business can’t take the time to have their advertising looked over for errors, they may give the impression that they don’t take the time to do a good job with their lawn care either.
